DESCRIPTION:Join us at our FREE Sustainable Saturday Green Fair. The event will run from 10.30am-2.30pm\n\n We will have lots of exciting activities and stands including: \n\n\nRefreshments: Delicious plant based food provided by Red Dragon (indo-chinese cuisine) and Spice ‘N’ Soul (vegan cakes).  We will serve refreshments and savoury dishes.  \n\n\nLive music: Severn Valley Stompers from 11am-12pm and 12.30-1.30pm \n\n\nFree children’s eco activities including: \n\n\npebble painting  \n\n\nmaking a bug hotel \n\n\nTeddy Tombola: 50p a ticket  \n\n\nSwap and Giveaway: swap for free or take any item for a pay as you can donation including household items\, books\, DVD’s\, toys and clothes  \n\n\nTransport displays including:  \n\n\nElectric car display  \n\n\nShropshire Cycle Hub and Delivery Service electric bike display  \n\n\nThe Green Cargo Gardener with electric cargo bike \n\n\n\n\nShropshire Good Food Partnership’s smoothie bike so you can make a healthy fruit and veg smoothie drink while pedalling on the bike burning calories as you do it.  \n\nPlant stalls provided by Shropshire Sarracenias and Dawley Community Garden\n\nArts and craft stalls including a woodwork stall using waste wood and Mystical Mycelium \n\n\nHarmonicherbal (herbal teas) \n\n\nInformation stands for the following groups:  \n\n\nLocal allotment groups  \n\n\nShropshire and Telford Community Energy (own Tremlowes solar farm in Shropshire) \n\nWellington Walkers are Welcome \n\n\nShropshire Climate Action  \n\n\nMarches Energy Agency  \n\n\nShropshire Wildlife Trust  \n\n\nTelford Repair Cafe (information stand only) \n\nTransition Telford\n\nRecycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including:  \n\n\nTerracycle (please see the Terracycle Telford Facebook page for details of what you can recycle and our updated list below). We cannot take Tetrapak cartons.   \n\n\nRecycle electronic gadgets\, jewellery\, stamps and coins (see website for details) \n\n\nCollection point for old mobile phones on behalf of local Coalport company Connected Mobiles. Please reset your old phone before donating it.
