DESCRIPTION:Our Green Festival event will feature: \n\n\n\nFree bike workshop demonstrating DIY repairs \n\n\n\nBlend your own smoothie using bike pedal power \n\n\n\nElectric bikes will be on display and details of cargo bike enterprises \n\n\n\nElectric Vehicles will be on display and a petrol engine Citroën Diane which has been converted to electric. The builder and designer will be there to answer questions on his project \n\n\n\nTraditional green wood demonstrations bringing to life old trades and methods   \n\n\n\nThe Little Green Pantry – our local refill shop – will be showcasing local eco products and offering children’s activities   \n\n\n\nLocal allotment and gardening groups including Dawley Community Garden offering children’s activities \n\n\n\nWe will also have a plant giveaway (pay as you can) \n\n\n\nGiant Jenga with a wildlife theme \n\n\n\nRenewable energy groups including a solar panel community investment group and Marches Energy Advice providing free advice and energy saving measures for your home. \n\n\n\nLocal allotment and gardening groups \n\n\n\nLocal walking groups with walking festival details   \n\n\n\nTelford Repair Cafe and Transition Telford will have information stands with details of their activities and events   \n\n\n\nFriends of Wellington Station \n\n\n\nThe whole event will be accompanied by The Seven Valley Stompers band \n\n\n\nPlant based refreshments will be available including from Red Dragon and their delicious Indian samosas and bahjis and so much more … \n\n\n\nLeaflet stand advertising other organisations who are working on local climate and eco action   \n\n\n\nRecycling: including Terracycle (please see the Terracycle Telford Facebook page for details of what you can recycle)\, electronic gadgets\, jewellery\, stamps and coins.   \n\n\n\nOld mobile phone collection point courtesy of local Coalport company Connected Mobiles.   \n\n\n\nEco Library: borrow books and magazines on Nature\, climate and living life in a more sustainable way. Free Refreshments:  a delicious range of hot and cold food and drinks with lunch served from 12pm. Donations welcome.
