DESCRIPTION:Join our Sustainable Sunday event in Wellington focused on Harvest activities with an additional swap\, recycling facilities and eco library.   \n\n\n\nThis event is FREE.   \n\n\n\nRefreshments and vegan snacks available on a pay-as-you-can basis.  \n\n\n\n\n11am-12.30pm hot and cold drinks and cakes/biscuits available\n\n\n\n12.30pm onwards lunch options served\n\n\n\n\n11am: Event starts.  \n\n\n\n11am-3pm:  \n\n\n\nTransition Telford’s Harvest Local: home grown produce (fruit and veg) and home made preserves including jams\, chutneys\, pickles for sale (donation based) \n\n\n\nMarches Energy Agency/Future Ready Homes information stand:  information about home energy efficiency and retrofit and recruiting for their Green Open Doors event in Shropshire & Telford in October.  \n\n\n\nRosedene Honey Stall \n\n\n\nTelford Central Mosque Garden Group: nature based activities for children \n\n\n\nPlant giveaway & garden scrap store: including tree and shrub seedlings\, edible plants and indoor plants\,  garden equipment\, tools\, pots. You can bring plants\, seeds and gardening equipment along to swap or to donate and take anything you want for a pay as you can donation.  \n\n\n\nFree gardening books and cook books to giveaway \n\n\n\nFoliage and Flowers Quiz with prizes \n\n\n\nLeaflet stand advertising other organisations who are working on local climate and eco action and including information about WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms)\, Havenhills Field and Kitchen\, Shropshire Good Food Partnership and a Biodiversity tick list to help you make your garden more wildlife friendly.  \n\n\n\nSwap and Giveaway: Swap for free or take any item for a pay as you can donation including household items\, books\, DVD’s\, toys\, clothes. By sharing resources we can reduce our carbon emissions and save money too. \n\n\n\nRecycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including Terracycle (please see the Terracycle Telford Facebook page for details of what you can recycle). We also offer the opportunity to recycle mobile phones\, electronic gadgets\, jewellery\, stamps and coins (see posters below for details). \n\n\n\nEco Library: Explore our new eco library of amazing books and magazines which you can borrow on Nature\, climate and living life in a more sustainable way. \n\n\n\nImage of items you can recycle including jewellery\, coins\, stamps\, mobile phones.
