SUMMARY:The People’s Emergency Briefing Film\, All Saints Church\, Wellington
DESCRIPTION:There is a new and exciting initiative sweeping the country that aims to inform people about the climate and nature crisis while at the same time giving us agency to respond\, grasping the opportunities that this crisis represents\, and giving our government the mandate to act.   \n\n\n\nThe 50-minute film will be screened in All Saints Church\, Wellington on Thursday 9th July\, at 7.30pm.  \n\n\n\nDoors open from 7pm for refreshments before the film begins.  \n\n\n\nThe film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV\, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham\, Deborah Meaden\, and a range of voices from across the UK. The film will be followed by a short open discussion about what it means to our community and what we can do locally.  \n\n\n\nAll are welcome – local MPs\, councillors and community leaders included. The film is suitable for people aged 16+.  \n\n\n\nThe National Emergency Briefing is supported by organisations across conservation\, education\, faith and civil society\, including the Church of England\, WWF\, the National Trust\, CPRE and the Royal Meteorological Society.  \n\n\n\nFurther information to follow or contact Alison Burton on alison.burton@climateactionhub.org.uk
