DESCRIPTION:Join in the fun at Wellington Green Festival.  Spend the day exploring over 30 stalls showcasing the amazing work of local green organisations and businesses.  \n\n\n\nThere will be plenty of plant based food stalls serving delicious food from pies and cheese to ice cream.  \n\n\n\nClimate Action Hub Telford will have a swap stand in All Saints Church grounds: any household items\, books\, DVD’s\, toys\, clothes to swap for free or take for a pay as you can donation \n\n\n\nTelford Repair Cafe will be offering repairs in All Saints Church. They can fix ornaments\, clothing\, soft toys\, home furnishings\, household and electrical items including PAT testing. \n\n\n\nShropshire Cycle Hub will be offering rickshaw rides.  \n\n\n\nThere will be Bodgers demonstrating wood crafts and wool spinning demos. \n\n\n\nThere will be activities for children on offer too. \n\n\n\nIn the Town Square people will be showing their electric cars and talking about their experiences.  \n\n\n\nMusic and entertainment from Severn Valley Stompers and Tadlop plus much much more!

Our recycling facilities and eco library will also be available. \n\n\n\nThis event is FREE.   \n\n\n\nRefreshments and vegan snacks available on a pay-as-you-can basis. \n\n\n\n\n11am-12.30pm hot and cold drinks and cakes/biscuits available\n\n\n\n12.30pm onwards hot and cold lunch options served\n\n\n\n\nFrom 11:00am onwards: \n\n\n\nTalk and information: Find out how ‘Fast Fashion’ is harming our planet \n\n\n\nCatwalk show: Amazing sustainable outfits created and modelled by Telford College students on our catwalk – Ideas and inspiration on how to dress sustainably AND still look good! \n\n\n\nClothes swap and giveaway: Browse our huge range of pre-loved clothes for men\, women and children. Bring your own unwanted clothes to swap or take for a small donation. Fill a bag for £1! \n\n\n\nShropshire Wildlife Trust will be with us\, looking to recruit volunteers to their Environmental Leadership Programme for 18-25 year olds  \n\n\n\nAfter lunch from 1:30pm: \n\n\n\nDarning workshop teaching mending skills and Demonstration on ways to use old garments to create something new\, provided by Telford Repair Cafe sewing experts. \n\n\n\nCreative making session: Use your imagination to create something amazing with pom poms! \n\n\n\nDisplay ‘Letters from the Global South’ – an exhibition about the effects of climate change on those countries which are both least responsible and most vulnerable to it. \n\n\n\nRecycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including Terracycle and the opportunity to recycle mobile phones\, electronic gadgets\, jewellery\, stamps and coins (see posters below for full details).  \n\n\n\nEco Library: Explore our new eco library of amazing books and magazines which you can borrow on Nature\, climate and living life in a more sustainable way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImage of items you can recycle including jewellery\, coins\, stamps\, mobile phones.

DESCRIPTION:Join our Sustainable Sunday event in Wellington focused on eco arts and craft activities for all ages and waste free crafting ideas with an additional Teddy Tombola\, swap and giveaway\, recycling facilities and eco library.   \n\n\n\nThis is a FREE event.   \n\n\n\nRefreshments and vegan snacks will be available throughout on a pay as you can donation basis \n\n\n\n\n11am -12.30pm hot and cold drinks and cakes/biscuits available\n\n\n\n12.30pm onwards hot and cold lunch served  \n\n\n\n\n11am: Event starts.  \n\n\n\n11am-3pm: Join our fun eco arts and craft activities for all ages with workshops provided by Art with Anna M making:   \n\n\n\n\nupcycled card Easter bunnies\n\n\n\negg carton spring time flower wreath and bonnets \n\n\n\nsalt dough Easter decorations\n\n\n\n\nWe will also be hosting other craft activities including: \n\n\n\n\nArt Blockers workshop provided by OsTogether\, printing nature motifs on tote bags\, second hand T-shirts\, fabric patches\n\n\n\nCraft activities provided by CAHT: Making and decorating picture frames made from waste cardboard \n\n\n\nand Telford Repair Cafe: weaving with cardboard looms and yarn remnants\n\n\n\n\nAll materials for the craft activities are provided. \n\n\n\nWe will have crafts on display showing how you can use waste fabric\, clothes and yarns to make useful things such as rag rugs\, woolly mats\, crocheted soap bags etc.   \n\n\n\nTeddy Tombola: Join in the fun and offer a new home to our pre loved teddies.  \n\n\n\nLittle Green Pantry: will have a stall to showcase plastic free shopping options and Little Green Heroes activities for kids. \n\n\n\nSwap and Giveaway: Swap for free or take any item for a pay as you can donation including household items\, books\, DVD’s\, toys\, clothes.
