FAQs

We receive donations like clothing, kitchenware, ornaments, toys, books, DVD’s, CD’s and other items.

These are unwanted items that we intend to rehome to reduce waste and encourage reuse.

Sharing our resources helps to reduce carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions by not buying new items and reducing landfill and incineration. It also helps us to support one another.

You can bring items to our events to swap for free, donate items to us to rehome, or take any items for a  pay-what-you-can donation.

If you’d like to volunteer with the Climate Action Hub, contact us. You can help us host events, network with other groups, administration, marketing, and much more.

We host environment focused events that aim to educate, promote, and support a sustainable way of living. 

Our events consist of:

  • Swaps and Giveaways
  • Garden scrap stores including tree seedling and plant giveaways
  • Film viewings on environmental themes at local cinemas
  • Community services like litter picking
  • Educational stands
  • Eco activities for families and children
