Join our Sustainable Sunday event in Wellington for a fun packed event on sustainable fashion including a clothes swap. Our recycling facilities and eco library will also be available.
This event is FREE.

Talk and information: Find out how ‘Fast Fashion’ is harming our planet
Catwalk show: Amazing sustainable outfits created and modelled by Telford College students on our catwalk – Ideas and inspiration on how to dress sustainably AND still look good!
Clothes swap and giveaway: Browse our huge range of pre-loved clothes for men, women and children. Bring your own unwanted clothes to swap or take for a small donation. Fill a bag for £1!
Shropshire Wildlife Trust will be with us, looking to recruit volunteers to their Environmental Leadership Programme for 18-25 year olds
After lunch from 1:30pm:
Darning workshop teaching mending skills and Demonstration on ways to use old garments to create something new, provided by Telford Repair Cafe sewing experts.
Creative making session: Use your imagination to create something amazing with pom poms!
Display ‘Letters from the Global South’ – an exhibition about the effects of climate change on those countries which are both least responsible and most vulnerable to it.
Recycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including Terracycle and the opportunity to recycle mobile phones, electronic gadgets, jewellery, stamps and coins (see posters below for full details).
Eco Library: Explore our new eco library of amazing books and magazines which you can borrow on Nature, climate and living life in a more sustainable way.
