Sustainable Sunday event, Repair, Make and Mend, Belmont Hall, Wellington

Join our Sustainable Sunday event in Wellington focused on Repair, Make and Mend activities with an additional swap, recycling facilities and eco library.

This event is FREE.  Refreshments and vegan snacks will be available throughout

11am: Event starts.

Telford Repair Cafe: will fix ornaments, clothing, soft toys, home furnishings, household & electrical items including PAT testing [No petrol powered items].  Please bring any items for repair before 1pm for collection by 2.30pm.

Connected Mobiles: provide advice on how you can keep your mobile phone up and running and bring your old mobile phones for recycling 

Willow weaving workshop with Daisy Askins: making a bird feeder (all materials provided) 

Swap and Giveaway: Swap for free or take any item for a pay as you can donation including household items, books, DVD’s, toys, clothes. By sharing resources we can reduce our carbon emissions and save money too.

Recycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including Terracycle (please see the Terracycle Telford Facebook page for details of what you can recycle). We also offer the opportunity to recycle mobile phones, electronic gadgets, jewellery, stamps and coins (see posters below for details).

Eco Library: Explore our new eco library of amazing books and magazines which you can borrow on Nature, climate and living life in a more sustainable way.
