Join our Sustainable Sunday event in Wellington for a fun packed event on eco art activities with adults and children. Our additional swap, recycling facilities and eco library will also be available.
This event is FREE.
Refreshments and vegan snacks available on a pay-as-you-can basis.
- 11am-12.30pm hot and cold drinks and cakes/biscuits available
- 12.30pm onwards hot and cold lunch options served
11am: Event starts.
11am-3pm: Join our eco art workshops including:
11am-1pm: A collage workshop with local artist Caris Jackson
From 11am: A gel printing workshop with local artist John Wragg
From 11am: a children’s art activities workshop with local artist Anna M
Swap and Giveaway: Swap for free or take any item for a pay as you can donation including household items, books, DVD’s, toys, clothes. By sharing resources we can reduce our carbon emissions and save money too.
Recycling: Make use of our recycling facilities including Terracycle and the opportunity to recycle mobile phones, electronic gadgets, jewellery, stamps and coins (see posters below for full details).
Eco Library: Explore our new eco library of amazing books and magazines which you can borrow on Nature, climate and living life in a more sustainable way.
