Our Green Festival event will feature:
Free bike workshop demonstrating DIY repairs
Blend your own smoothie using bike pedal power
Electric bikes will be on display and details of cargo bike enterprises
Electric Vehicles will be on display and a petrol engine Citroën Diane which has been converted to electric. The builder and designer will be there to answer questions on his project
Traditional green wood demonstrations bringing to life old trades and methods
You will be able to meet local environmental groups including:
Shropshire Wildlife Trust with children’s activities
Giant Jenga with a wildlife theme
Renewable energy groups including a solar panel community investment group and Marches Energy Advice providing free advice and energy saving measures for your home.
Local allotment and gardening groups
Local walking groups with walking festival details
Telford Repair Cafe and Transition Telford with have information stands with details of their activities and events
Friends of Wellington Station
The whole event will be accompanied by The Seven Valley Stompers band
Plant based refreshments will be available including from Red Dragon and their delicious Indian samosas and bahjis and so much more …
Leaflet stand advertising other organisations who are working on local climate and eco action
Recycling: including Terracycle (please see the Terracycle Telford Facebook page for details of what you can recycle), electronic gadgets, jewellery, stamps and coins.

Eco Library: borrow books and magazines on Nature, climate and living life in a more sustainable way. Free Refreshments: a delicious range of hot and cold food and drinks with lunch served from 12pm. Donations welcome.
